Although the promise of independence at St. Dominic’s initially caught my attention, the college has exceeded my expectations.
The staff at the college have become my mentors and my support system, and they provide an extensive tutorial and study skills program that has helped me develop the critical skills I need to be an independent learner. Additionally, guest lectures and external visits have fulfilled my desire to learn beyond my course, and the college’s leadership opportunities, charity volunteering, and broad enrichment program have helped me become a well-rounded and engaged member of my community. But what I appreciate most about St. Dominic’s is the unique relationship between staff and students. The small class sizes and the dedication of all staff to our progress means that we can contribute to meaningful class discussions and receive plenty of individual attention and support. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to attend such an amazing college, and I know that I will always look back on my time here with fondness. I am sure that the experiences and skills that I have gained here have left me well-prepared for whatever path I choose to pursue.
