St Dominic’s is delighted to have been successfully reaccredited with the Wellbeing Award for Schools – December 2025. In his report, the verifier, who met with a range of stakeholders, praised the College’s commitment to wellbeing and the way its Catholic and Christian values underpin all aspects of College life. He noted the strong emphasis placed on helping students develop the resilience, skills and confidence needed to flourish both within the College and as members of the wider community. The verifier commented on the following strengths:

The award lasts for three years. During this time the College will continue to review and strengthen the support it provides for students, staff and the wider community. Particular attention will be given to building on the strengths of the tutor–student relationship, exploring with staff and students what is working especially well and identifying opportunities for further development. We will also continue to embed the VESPA model within the Veritas programme and seek feedback from stakeholders to ensure that our wellbeing provision continues to develop and improve.
