I plan to go to university to study Physiotherapy. The support you get with the UCAS process and preparation for interviews is incredible.
At St. Dominic’s, the pupils, teachers and support staff are supportive whilst challenging and encourage you to achieve your best at all times.
I really enjoy having 1:1’s with my form tutor. They are someone that I can rely on for help and advice at any time. I study Biology, Psychology and Geography. Biology has always been one of my favourite subjects since secondary school as I love learning about the human body and how it functions (which is more intriguing and intricate than you think)! Studying it at A-Level, although challenging, has continued to fuel my interest.
Psychology was a brand-new subject to me. It impresses me how we can use studies from psychology to adapt things such as our revision strategies depending on how our brains work.
I’m a lover of extra-curricular activities and I was honoured to be chosen as a team captain. Alongside this, I love to watch and support other pupils at basketball matches between the Dom’s Bulls and other teams (gets the blood pumping a bit!) One of my favourite highlights of St Dominic’s is the community events such as ‘Cultural Diversity Day’. Everyone gets to look beautiful in their culture’s attire, try new delicacies and learn about our diverse community! It’s such a lovely way to bond as friends, a year group and a whole school community. I plan to go to university to study Physiotherapy. The support you get with the UCAS process and preparation for interviews is incredible. I was able to submit my application before the deadline and successfully complete all 5 interviews. I know that when the time comes and I leave, I’ll always miss St Dominic’s!
