Work Experience

We are keen to ensure that as many of our students as possible are given the opportunity to gain work experience and to have encounters with employers through face-to-face and virtual interactions.

If you are an employer who may be able to offer a work experience placement, please contact our Careers Leader, Anna Scarampi.

Students are regularly signposted to careers and work experience opportunities as well as webinars and taster lectures which they can sign up for and are supported if they are seeking to find work experience placements. All BTEC Business students complete a work experience week at a local company.  At St. Dominic’s, we have developed some excellent links with local employers who are keen to support our students in a range of different sectors.
