Santa Dash for St Luke’s Hospice
On 14 December, St Dominic’s was filled with festive cheer as the annual Santa Dash took place. The morning got off to a brilliant start with Bobby leading a lively warm-up, singing It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year and setting the tone perfectly. We were delighted to be joined by students from Sacred Heart Language College, adding to the great atmosphere.
Staff and students took part, running or walking the 5km route around the hill. Some of the fastest runners this year made it back to St Dominic’s in an impressive time under thirty five minutes! Well done to Kiran, Sharun, Dominik and Aaron!
After the dash, everyone was rewarded with well deserved hot chocolates, complete with cream and marshmallows, along with delicious mince pies. A huge thank you goes to Jacqui for helping to organise the event, along with the fantastic team at St Luke’s, for making the dash such a success.
A total of £1100 was raised on the day for this wonderful charity which provides specialist end of life and palliative care to people in Harrow and Brent. Donations are still open on ParentPay so there is still time to sponsor the Santa Dashers.
