Macmillan Coffee Morning and Bake Sale

On Friday 26th September, students and staff at St Dominic’s came together to support Macmillan’s Coffee Morning and Bake Sale for Cancer Support. Many students came dressed in green in support of Macmillan, joined by the charity team in their green attire and SLT in their aprons!

Thanks to everyone’s generosity (and love of cake), the College community raised over £1,400! A fantastic achievement!

This year’s bake sale was a great success – not just because of the amount raised for Macmillan, but also due to the incredible variety of baked goods… the tables were piled high! From blueberry muffins to lemon slices, and one beautifully piped cake that was so tempting even our Principal couldn’t resist a slice!

The money raised will go directly to Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity that provides a wide range of support and services to people living with cancer. A huge well done and thank you to everyone who donated, baked, or simply enjoyed a sweet treat in support of the cause.
