Culture Day at St Dominic’s 2026

Next Wednesday, 24 June, we will celebrate Culture Day at St Dominic’s. This is always a fantastic occasion, bringing our College community together to celebrate the diversity that makes St Dominic’s such a vibrant and unique place to study. The day provides an opportunity to recognise and showcase the many cultures, traditions, and heritages represented across our community.

We have a number of activities planned throughout the day:

  • Students and staff are invited to wear traditional attire that reflects their cultural heritage.
  • Henna stalls will be available in the College from Monday to Wednesday, with all proceeds supporting students’ Three Peaks Challenge fundraising efforts.
  • Students will perform traditional songs and music under the Shack at breaktime, followed by traditional dance performances at lunchtime.
  • The canteen will be serving a range of dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world.
  • A “Clash of the Titans” Table Tennis World Cup tournament will take place during the day.
  • Daily prayer will celebrate the richness and beauty of the diversity within our St Dominic’s community.

All funds raised during Culture Day will be donated to UNICEF.

A huge thank you to the Equality and Diversity Team for their hard work and dedication in planning and organising this event. We look forward to celebrating together next week.
