On Wednesday 9 September, our first-year students took part in the Mary’s Meals Walk, enjoying a beautiful sunny day as they walked together around Harrow on the Hill to raise money for this wonderful charity.
Mary’s Meals provides nutritious school meals to children living in some of the world’s poorest communities. By providing a meal in a place of education, the charity helps to tackle hunger while encouraging children to attend school and giving them the opportunity for a brighter future.
The walk was a wonderful way for our new students to come together at the beginning of their time at St Dominic’s, while putting our Gospel values into action through service and care for others.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our students, families and wider College community, we have raised an amazing £3,200 for Mary’s Meals.
A huge thank you to all our first-year students who took part and to everyone who sponsored them. The money raised will help Mary’s Meals continue its simple but life-changing work, providing meals, education and hope to children around the world.
Thank you for your wonderful support and generosity!
