Badminton

St Dominic’s delivered a dominant performance from start to finish in a commanding 9–1 victory over Leyton. The match began with St Dominic’s in complete control, as they swept all four singles games to storm into an early 4–0 lead. Playing with confidence and precision, the team set the tone from the very first rallies.

That momentum carried straight into the doubles and mixed doubles matches, where St Dominic’s continued to shine. Strong partnerships, sharp communication, and relentless determination proved too much for Leyton to handle. Every player contributed to the team effort, showing excellent teamwork and composure under pressure.

Despite facing determined opposition, St Dominic’s dropped just one game across the entire match — a testament to their focus and quality throughout. It was a superb all-round display and a well-deserved 9–1 triumph to cap off an outstanding team performance.

Cross Country Championships – Harrow School (12th March 2026)

We were delighted to take 18 students to Harrow School for the final race of the season, which proved to be a great occasion for all involved.

Below is a match report kindly written by Namara, one of our Year 11 runners:

“The event was a great success, with over 400 runners taking part. Our athletes represented the college extremely well and competed with determination throughout. A particular highlight was our Sixth Form girls’ team — we had the largest number of female runners (13), more than three times as many as any other school or college. Overall, it was a very positive event and a great performance from our team.”
