Applying as an Ex-Student: UCAS 2027

  • If you decide that you wish to apply through UCAS again and you wish us to do a reference for you, you must tell us by 21st September (early application) or 9th November (all other applications) so that we can prepare your reference.
  • Please email Anna Scarampi and Lisa Harper at careers@stdoms.ac.uk and tell them clearly what your plans are, which subject you are applying for and University choices.
  • There is an admin fee of £50 for this service, please see the payment slip below if you were previously on Free School Meals with the College, this fee will be waivered.
  • You will be applying as an independent student, so you will fill in your UCAS application as you did last year and will add Anna Scarampi (asc@stdoms.ac.uk) as your referee. It must be done by the careers department centrally, so please do not approach another teacher or tutor as they will just refer it back to careers.  We will not see the rest of your application so you will need to ensure that you have filled it in carefully.
  • For UCAS 2027 Entry, the personal statement has changed and is now 3 questions, please see the tab below for information on this.
  • The reference must be submitted to us by 23rd September (early application) or 23rd November (all other applications) so that we can add your reference. You will then send your application to UCAS by paying the application fee. Please note that your application cannot be submitted until we have completed and added your reference to the application. You must meet our deadlines so that we are able to add this in time.
  • The College cannot act as your UCAS referee if you decide to retake your A levels
  • Retaking A Levels is not easy as you must retake all the papers for a subject, not just a single component.  If you plan to retake your A levels you will have to ask your new College, or private tutor, to do your reference.  They will have more up to date knowledge of your potential too.  You CANNOT retake your A levels at the College, but we have a list of Local Exam Centres that can be provided, although this is often a poor choice (see below)
