Remote Learning During Lockdown

During this period of lockdown, lessons are taking place, according to the normal timetable, live on the Microsoft Teams app.

Students’ attendance is being recorded as usual and progress is assessed through contributions in lessons, homework and tests. Where we have concerns about engagement, our Student Services Team are targeting support and interventions.

Tutorials continue as usual, as do ‘one to one’ meetings between students and their tutors.

The College has lent out over 100 laptops and provided sim cards with unlimited data to some students.  Free School Meal and Bursary payments are continuing as normal during this period of lockdown.

The College Chaplain (Dominic Cunliffe) and College Counsellor (Yvonne Sarratt) are both available to students who wish to have a confidential conversation with either of them.

Communication to parents and students will continue in the usual way via email.
