Guidelines
These Guidelines have been developed by St Dominic’s Sixth Form College to promote fairness and consistency. They do not replace the Education Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) funding guidance which providers must follow.
Guidance for providers on audit and management information requirements is available in the FA Guide and Q&A for providers and local authorities can be found here.
The purpose of the Bursary is to support and retain students:
- promote a positive attitude to learning
- the Bursary is based on attendance, punctuality, good conduct and our learner agreement
- the Bursary will be applied fairly and consistently
- the process should be clear and accessible to all students in the College
- eligible students will be identified and assessed in a designated time frame and kept informed of their application process
- the scheme will be used to maximise the amount of funding available to support individual students
The 16-19 Bursary Fund has two elements.
