Principal's Concert - Thursday 22nd June 2017

Principals Charity Concert
For our annual charity concert this year the College presented the stunning Faure Requiem with soloists Egle-Kristina Skaburskyte (soprano), George Boros (baritone) and Matthew Fowles (baritone). The joint Community and Student Choir, under the direction of Abigail Gorton, sang extremely well and they were accompanied beautifully by Andrew Macmillan on organ and Aideen McHugh on harp. Aideen graduated from St Dominic's last year and is now studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Visiting performers, The Harrow Community Gospel Choir began the concert with a powerful rendition of Jacob's Ladder, Vuma and Bob Marley's One Love, which they dedicated to the victims of the recent Grenfell Tower fire.
The retiring collection raised £793.25 for the College's charities.
