Christmas Carol Concert

Carols by Candlelight
Our beautiful chapel was glittering in candlelight and Christmas decorations for the carol service on Tuesday evening presided over by Bishop Nicholas Hudson.
Favourite carols and readings served to get everyone truly in the mood for Christmas and a procession of lights accompanied the opening plainchant of 'Veni, veni Emmanuel'.
The Magnificat was sung by Kristina Skaburskyte whose pure tones were sensitively accompanied by the orchestra and Harvey O'Connell on guitar. Other highlights included Rutter's 'O Holy Night' sung by the choir and 'How beautiful are the feet' sung by Abigail Gorton.
Photographs of the evening can be found here.
