On Friday 11^th November, students and staff from St Dominic’s gathered as a College community to mark this important day.  There was a short service in the Chapel at 10:55am, led by Principal, Andrew Parkin, followed by the 2 minute silence at 11:00am.

At 12 noon, Bishop John Sherrington conducted our Remembrance Mass.

 

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
