St. Dominic’s Sixth Form College is committed to the ‘Quality in Careers Standard Award’. We believe that all of our students deserve access to high quality, impartial careers education information, advice and guidance, to inform them of their choices about their future careers and educational progression. As a College, we were first accredited in 2015 and then re-assessment in 2018. As we move towards the new academic year, I am pleased to announce that we are due to be assessed for re-accreditation in October (2022).

We recognise that under the new Ofsted Framework, the ‘Quality of Education’ judgement refers to the curriculum being “coherently planned and sequenced towards cumulatively sufficient knowledge and skills for future learning and employment” and we strongly believe that this work supports this and supports our students.
