On Friday 1^st July, St. Dominic’s invited just over 1300 Year 1 applicants to the College for our transition afternoon event. Although it started with some rain, the sun quickly made an appearance and it turned out to be a lovely afternoon here on the Hill.  It was great to see so many Year 1 applicants come through the gates and engage with members of the St. Dominic’s community to learn more about the courses that they have applied to study in September.

As always, our fantastic student helpers welcomed our visitors and our superb teaching staff were on hand to field questions. Applicants had the opportunity to learn about ‘Student Leadership opportunities’, ‘Core RE, Charity and Community’ , ‘Support and Enrichment activities’ and ‘Life after St. Dominic’s’.

It was fantastic to see the site full of curious young people who exuded genuine excitement regarding their next steps. We are very much looking forward to welcoming our new cohort in the new academic year.
