Emergency relief effort for Ukraine

A week long College-wide effort enabled St Dominic’s to make its contribution to the emergency relief effort taking place across Europe at this time to support those refugees who have fled Ukraine.
Under the watchful eye of Cristina Bradescu (Year 1) and Assistant Principal, Naomi Ross, a van full of boxes left the College site at 4:00pm on Friday afternoon bound for Moldova, hopefully arriving early this week.
The Principal Andrew Parkin commented:
"Filling the van with all the items we have collected as a community was quite emotional, as I wondered where our items would end up, who would be on the receiving end of them and what a terrible situation the Ukrainians find themselves in. We have played a small part in supporting those who are suffering at this time and I am sure that those receiving our items will be grateful".
