St. Dominic's celebrates International Women's Day!

St. Dominic’s has marked International Women’s Day in true style this year with a week-long series of events to mark this global event. The College has welcomed guests from the worlds of sport, law, politics, education, medicine and public office and culminated with the annual Blake Morgan Law Lecture on Thursday evening, the winner of which was Year 1 student Priyana Patankar. Guests were welcomed by the Student Executive and James Goodrick-Green, Head Boy and Natasha Mitra, Head Girl said of the event ‘Our speakers for International Women’s Week educated, entertained and inspired students. They discussed the challenges of being women in male dominant jobs, the battles still left to fight, and their advice for female students aiming for success!’
