St Dominic's Supports 'The Passage'
Here at St Dominic's, we are proud to support The Passage, a charity based on the principals of St Vincent de Paul, who are dedicated to helping to provide homeless people with support to transform their lives with residential projects, accommodation, outreach and homeless prevention projects.
Since the beginning of lockdown they have helped over 300 people off the streets and into temporary accommodation and assisted them throughout this time with both daily food deliveries and personal support. They have also reopened their Resource Centre and are operating a new model, in line with government safety guidelines.
At the present time, The Passage is facing their biggest challenge in our 40 year history. Many clients now need support to remain off the street and their services are vital for the rough sleeping community in London and those who find themselves homeless for the first time this winter.
The Passage will be holding a Lenten Appeal to mark the 40 years of Passage Service to our homeless sisters and brothers over the 40 days of Lent and they would welcome donations (which can be done through their website by clicking here).
