Kilimanjaro 2016

On Monday 27th June, 13 students and 3 teachers headed to Tanzania to climb Mt Kilimanjaro. Building on the success of last year's expedition, the students and staff will brave the giant mountain once again!  The climb will take 7 full days and will involve everyone walking up to 7 hours a day gaining altitude each day.  The final push for the summit will be a gruelling 8 hour night climb followed by a long descent resulting in an 18 hour day.  The money raised will go towards Kujali's Orphan School Support Programme in Tanzania which currently supports 134 orphaned children with school fees and meals at school.  If you would like to sponsor the team, donations are most welcome via the 'my donate' link.
