St Dominic’s Achieves 'Outstanding'!
St Dominic's Achieves 'Outstanding'!
It was with great joy that we received the final report from the recent Section 48 Diocesan Inspection. The College was inspected in March and we are now able to publicly share the outcome. We were judged to be ‘outstanding’ for classroom religious education and ‘outstanding’ for the Catholic life of the College. The glowing report highlights the many areas of exemplary practice that makes St. Dominic’s such a unique institution in the eyes of the Church and one that has continued to grow and flourish for 40 years since Cardinal Basil Hume laid the foundation stone back in 1978. Principal, Andrew Parkin commented ‘This is a great moment for the whole St. Dominic’s community. The ‘outstanding’ inspection report truly reflects how St. Dominic’s is every day of the year and to have this recognised publicly through an inspection process is something to be celebrated by everyone associated with the College, especially as we are about to embark on our celebratory 40th anniversary year’.
