MUN Conference at Merchant Taylors' School

St Dominic’s MUN Team attended the inaugural Merchant Taylors School’s MUN Conference; representing both Kuwait and North Korea.
The eleven person team debated a range of topical issues across 6 committees and Samantha Painter received a ‘Best Delegate’ award for her work on the United Nations Environmental Program. This was an excellent start to the MUN conference season for St Dom’s.
Other highlights included Sharleen Opia and Ella Walsh having their resolutions passed in Committees and Vishal Mattew’s stellar work on the Security Council.
While it was a very long day, it was a great experience for our team and I look forward to attending both the John Lyon and Haileybury MUN conferences with them in March.
