Action for Change - Young people supporting the homeless

As part of the activities programme some of our students are co-ordinating events to support the homeless in London. The first group will be raising money to support the work of the Cardinal Hume Centre which is a centre who support young people who are homeless in Victoria. The Cardinal Hume Centre is more than this though as it helps many people who are in need improve their English, update their CV, improve their skills to make themselves more employable and help look after the children while the adults are at the centre. This group will be planning a fundraiser to help support this work.

The second group will be working with a night shelter to help feed those in need. Members of the group have the opportunity to volunteer for an evening and be of service to the guests who come. They will also be organising a clothing collection in the run up to Christmas as our Christmas appeal.
