Iceland
The Biology trip to Iceland was a truly unforgettable experience. We visited many beautiful sites in Iceland such as the Blue Lagoon, Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls, the Reynishverfi black sand beach, the Sólheimajökull glacier, the Kerið crater and geysers. As well as seeing these magnificent sites, we had fun petting the friendly semi-wild Icelandic horses and, of course, playing in the snow! Iceland is a great example of genetic drift and succession, both of which students learn about in Year 2.
