Government and Politics at A Level will allow you to gain an in depth understanding of British and American politics. At AS Level you will study a variety of interesting topics on British politics. These include the powers of the Prime Minister, the influence of pressure groups and the role of political parties in the UK. At A2 you will study American politics and study topics such as the Presidency, the Supreme Court and Race and Ethnic Politics. Government and Politics provides you with many transferable skills that will help with any future career. The subject provides an excellent foundation for the Law, Civil Service and teaching.
