The History Syllabus comprises two AS modules to be studied and examined during the first year based on 20th century British History and 19/20th century U.S. History. At A2, students study one module for examination on late 20th century and early 21st century British political history. The second A2 module comprises a Personal Study, where the students write a 3500 word essay based on extensive in-depth research on an historical issue that is placed in the context of 100 years.
