Music A level can lead to a career in the music industry in either performing, composing or publishing. Music A level is highly regarded by Tertiary institutions even if you are not intending to pursue a music degree. It is an academic and demanding subject that requires both talent and commitment.

In addition to GCSE English Grade C … At leastgrade 5 standard on an instrument and ability to read music notation. Entrance by audition.

Assessment details:
Units 3 and 6 are assessed by examination in June. All other units include coursework. Performances and compositions are recorded.
