A Level Computing

This course provides an introduction to computing.  It aims to provide an understanding of how computers work and how they are used in different situations.  You will learn the principles of programming and how to write programs. You will need to be good at solving problems on your own.  You will need to be able to work in a logical and organised way.  You will develop project and time management skills and the ability to think creatively, analytically and critically.  It provides an excellent foundation for the further study of computing at University.

Subject entry requirements:   Grade B in both GCSE English Language and GCSE Mathematics.
